Several of his short and feature-length screenplays have garnered major wins and high placement awards in mainstream screenwriting contests and film festivals. He is the co-writer of the action/thriller feature film, "PURSUIT", starring John Cusack and Emile Hirsch, which streams on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.

Ben is the security consultant and assistant for his friend, Shawn Klush, the world's premier Elvis Tribute Artist, and first to be recognized by Elvis Presley Enterprises as the 'Ultimate Elvis'.

A retired NYC Police Officer, he served in both the NYC Transit Police (patrolling New York's subways) and the NYPD. Ben is a 9/11 'First Responder' and participated in the rescue and recovery mission during and after the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

                                                             RECENT PRODUCTION:

"PUNCHER'S CHANCE", a short drama film, written by Ben, and directed by Cristina Acocella (Script Supervisor of CBS-TV All Access, "MacGyver"), is completed and will begin its run on the major film festival circuit. The film stars Gregory Alan Williams ("The Sopranos" "Law & Order", "Baywatch", etc.) and is the story of boxing's corrupt side. Ben is thrilled with the quality of the film and its top-notch acting. Look for it as it hits the big screen at the film festivals soon!
